Dr. Noah Sands is a passionate and skilled double-board-certified facial plastic surgeon practicing in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. He was recently a full-time academic surgeon and assistant professor at Icahn School of Medicine – Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, helping train and mentor surgical residents and plastic surgery fellows. Originally from Montreal, Canada, Dr. Sands completed medical school and surgical residency at storied McGill University. He served as chief resident in his final year of training. He then completed two fellowships, first under the tutelage of Dr. Peter Adamson at the University of Toronto, who is a former President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, recognized as a leader in the field and an authority in rhinoplasty among other procedures. Dr. Sands went on to receive advanced training in cleft lip and palate surgery and facial reconstruction for children at the University of Utah.
He has published widely, having authored over 25 peer-reviewed articles and co-authored book chapters (otoplasty, rhinoplasty, concepts of beauty). He has presented at various international meetings.
Dr. Sands has refined expertise in primary, ethnic and revision rhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction, aging face surgery (face and neck lift, eyelid surgery, brow lift, lip lift, chin augmentation, neck contouring), hair transplant surgery, ear repair/otoplasty, skin (Mohs) cancer reconstruction, scar revision, injectables and non-surgical skin rejuvenation.
With a strong dedication to his craft, a keen aesthetic eye and compassion for his patients, Dr. Sands brings a fastidious and perfectionistic approach to every procedure and is committed to excellent, natural appearing, timeless results. Outside of work, Dr. Sands is an avid skier and outdoorsman, yogi, runner, triathlete, and full-distance Ironman.
